Created in 2009, the Vignobles & Découvertes (Vineyards and Discoveries) label is awarded for a period of 3 years by Atout France, after recommendation of the Conseil Supérieur de l'Oenotourisme, to a tourist and wine destination offering multiple and complementary tourist products (accommodation, catering, cellar visits and tastings, museums, events, etc.) and allowing the customer to facilitate the organization of his stay and to direct him to qualified services.

In Saumur, many tourism professionals are involved in the Vignobles & Découvertes approach.

FESTIVINI is certified as a wine tourism event.

RENE RENOU AWARD

FESTIVINI AWARDED WITH THE 2013 RENÉ RENOU PRIZE FOR WINE TOURISM

In 2013, Festivini received the prestigious National Wine Tourism Award « René Renou » in partnership with Les Grandes Tablées du Saumur-Champigny. This prize is awarded by the Association Nationale des Elus du Vin and the International Federation of Wine Journalists and Writers.

"This recognition is a pleasure. After four years, we have succeeded in making Festivini a major event and this distinction will allow us to go even further. We must not forget that it is wine that has shaped our landscapes among the most beautiful in France. We must not forget that without it, the French cuisine, classified as intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO, would not be much. Above all, we must remember the importance of the culture of taste. This is the purpose of this festival of Wine Culture"..
